About me
I am a PhD student in Dr. Nick Mason's lab at Louisiana State University. For my dissertation I am studying the role altitudinal migration plays in avian diversification. During my undergraduate I worked extensively in the University of California Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History where I developed a deep appreciation of the value of museums. Prior to going back to school I spent over 10 years as a field biologist working primarily for non-profits, environmental consulting companies, and academics.
